This is ironic
that women were deprived of creative power because they already are a work of art in themselves
(they couldn't be artists since they were art iself - the muse)
and I'm trying to make my life a work of art
Though nobody writes me - I'm making the script, I write myself
Old-fashioned of course but still !
And avant-garde makes no sense about that statement (art had to be virilized but the boundaries between art and life had to be erased. The "virile" artist became art itself, didn't he ?)
